Our student representative council is elected each year by students and staff. The students are involved in various planning and training events which aim to enhance their leadership skills. Following on from the strong tradition that Oak Flats High has established, the SRC strives to whole-heartedly represent the student body in an approachable and open manner.
Students in the SRC will experience organising events, fundraising, school motivational events, assemblies and out of school events such as Anzac Day ceremonies.
The focus this year has been to enhance and provide students with more leadership experiences which align with the school strategic direction of building strong leadership. In order to achieve this students have been engaging in year meetings, meeting with the principal and presenting to the school executive meetings twice a term.
