Oak Flats High School Acknowledgement of Country
Discover how our students connect with Country through words, reflection and dance. Filmed at significant local sites, including Windang Island, Killalea and Hill 60, this video features our student’s Acknowledgement of Country, reflections on dancing on Country, and the Gang Man Gang dance, developed with guidance from local Elders to interpret the Dreaming story of the creation of Windang Island and the arrival of the first people in the Illawarra.
