Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C). Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

The Oak Flats High School P&C meets once a term, usually at Oak Flats Bowling Club between 6 and 7:30 pm. These casual and friendly get togethers are a fantastic way to get involved, meet staff, chat with other parents, and stay up to date on the latest school programs and initiatives.

Throughout the year, we raise funds, mainly through our popular chocolate box fundraisers, where staff can purchase chocolates to support the cause. And the best part? The P&C gets to decide how these funds are spent to benefit our students and enhance their learning experience.

Whether you’ve got a burning question, or just want to learn more about what’s happening at OFHS, we’d love to see you there. Every new face brings fresh ideas, and we’re always happy to welcome you – no matter when you join during the year!

Keep an eye on the Oak Flats High School Facebook Events page and check your inbox for an email the week before each meeting. Together, we can make OFHS an even better place for our students to learn, grow, and thrive!

P&C meetings

There is 1 meeting per term, usually Wednesday in Week 4.

Time: 6:00pm for optional dinner, 6:30 pm start - 7:30 pm end.
