Oak Flats High School supports the operation of a breakfast club for our students and staff twice a week during school term. The "brekky club" is staffed by volunteers from St. Vincent de Paul who generously donate their time from 7:30am until 8:30am each Thursday and Friday. The volunteer supervisor, Mrs. Janelle Trigg, says that the brekky club is there to provide a free nutritious breakfast for students and staff and also to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere where students can socialise with each other and with their teachers.
The brekky club is proving very popular with both students and staff as is evidenced by the high level of attendance each Thursday and Friday morning.
We are always looking for additional volunteers to assist with breakfast club. Please contact the front office if you are interested.
